DIAMONDS CONFIRM TUESDAY 2nd MARCH - A FORUM WITH NIGEL PEARSON (7.30pm)

The management of the Newcastle “Sapphire Engineering” Diamonds confirmed that hot on the heels of the recently very successful race night, that that B.S.P.A. Press Officer, Nigel Pearson will be in town on Tuesday March 2nd to talk in-depth with supporters. Pearson, also the voice behind SKY Sports Speedway coverage, not to mention Darts and Football as well as TalkSport Radio’s Football commentator, reporter and presenter is feverishly busy – and all within the world he adores – sport, but has set aside one night for Newcastle Diamonds’ fans to fire questions at him.

The event will be once again at the P.T.E. Club on Miller’s Road in Byker starting at 7.30pm with a door charge of £4 per head for what is sure to be a fascinating night, giving the fans a rare insight into the world behind the scenes of Speedway’s national set ups.

No doubt with Pearson’s love of the beautiful game, he will delight in waxing lyrical about his other sporting interests, and with Football being a major topic of chat on Tyneside – opinions on the Magpies could be an interesting ally way to go down. Questions will be invited all evening from the floor, with fans invited to keep the vibrant night rolling on – a night surely not to be missed – an a perfect way to wind up to the start of the 2010 season which is just around the corner.
