FANS FORUM SUCCESS FOR FENMENBy Mildenhall Speedway ~ Tuesday 9th March 2010The Fenman Bar was packed to the rafters on Sunday afternoon as the Fen Tigers sponsored by Art and Stitch and The Nikko Racing Academy team were introduced to their supporters at the pre season Fans Forum. The afternoon started when Master of Ceremonies and Academy Team Manager Blayne Scroggins introduced his Nikko Racing Academy Team of Niall Strudwick, Adam Portwood , Sam Woods and Captain Adam Kirby and they were all interviewed and pictured with their race jackets. The Academy Team who will take part in second half challenges are the future of Mildenhall Speedway and were very well received.
Then came the introduction of Fen Tigers with Captain Barrie Evans leading the way saying how much all the guys were looking forward to the new season. Fen Tigers Co-Chairman Ray Mascall said ”When you see a fantastic turnout like this from our supporters it does make you feel that all the hard work has been worth it over the last few months or so, it was great to see all our team member present including Matt Bates who had a mammoth 5 hour drive to be with us”.
Mildenhall will open their campaign on Sunday April 4th against the touring Team Viking which will see the return of former Fen Tiger Henning Loof.
