RUSSIAN sensation Emil Sayfutdinov is coming to Britain for two high profile meetings next week. The Grand Prix star will ride in the Bob Kilby Memorial at Swindon on March 18 followed by Somerset’s 10-year Anniversary celebration event the following night.

Swindon co-promoter Gary Patchett said: “This is great news and I’m sure Swindon fans will love seeing Emil up against Jason Crump, Nicki Pedersen and Hans Andersen on our fast track. It promises to be a very special night for the club.”

SOMERSET boss Debbie Hancock has vowed to peg admission prices at the normal level for their 10th Anniversary meeting next Friday, March 19. Grand Prix ace Emil Sayfutdinov is the latest star name to be announced in a glittering field.

Said Hancock: “It was exciting enough to have riders of the calibre of Jason Crump, Hans Andersen and the like in the field, but receiving the news that Emil would be coming over to ride as well really sets the seal on the meeting. It must represent excellent value for money, where else could you see a field of this stature for an adult admission price of just £13, plus kids 10 and under will be admitted free of charge if accompanied by a paying adult.”
